Trouble remembering to adjust your controller for the different        watering cycles  put out by the City Restrictions. Rachio lets              you set "Start and End Dates for seasonal watering                              requirements. Rachio will then send you a message when one          ends and the next one begins, so you can change the year for          the next seasonal change.  No more crawling through the                  garage with a flashlight so you can read the screen.  Just a                quick adjustment on your smart device and it is done.

Conventional water scheduling tip sheet
Summer Schedule :  1am  and again at 4am
(Sprays 8 to 10 min. -  Rotors 20 -30 min)

Winter Schedule :  11am  once a week
(Use your Water Budget to reduce times )

DRIP Scheduling:  Simplified
Drip runs year round -  2 to 3 times a week in Winter (Nov, Dec, Jan, Feb, Mar)
Once the temperatures reach 70 degrees it should be 3 x a week for every 10 degrees add 1 day
The key to knowing how long your run times need to be is to understand what type of drip you have.
( .6 - 12" spacing) 16 to 20 min.   ~   (.9 - 12" spacing) 10 to 15 min. ~   (.6 - 18" spacing) 25 to 35 min.
